Character Art Update

Hello!

Currently the game uses 'free to use' sprites from Jewel. While they're free to use (again, to my knowledge! I hope this is okay? XD), their outfits weren't uniforms, ya know? So I've spent the past few days redrawing their outfits and creating my own designs. The designs themselves I want to develop to the point where they're completely my own, but I think I've hit that point!

From right to left we have Yumi, Aiko, Kana and Haruka. Yumi is one sprite's head on another's body. Aiko is primarily a redraw. Kana is someone else's arms and then a redraw. And they all have Haruka's skirt adjusted to fit them! I'm creating monsters here. xD I hope this is interested to everyone! They have matching files, animations and elements, though I'm sure they'll splinter off into their own creations with time!

It's a good starting point, as I'm an artist before I'm a coder. I can't really do the story without knowing what I'm working with. I do appreciate all the support that's been sent my way, and I hope people are happy to work with me as I continue to develop the game into a bigger, fuller narrative. The next major update I'll be releasing will be considered a 'reset', in a sense.

So be ready for anything!

As for an expected ETA, the story needs to be written... So it's just a matter of time! I do apologize for the non-specific timeline, I just didn't anticipate the support and am so blown away.
