I LOOOOOVE texting in games, whether direct or indirect. I like participating in the choices as much as I enjoy reading it, because the reality is a lot of our interactions arrive thru a phone! There's still some stand-in sprites, but I've at least made progress with Murdoc & Paige.

Thru some script from https://nadianova.itch.io/phone-message-system-for-renpy I've implemented the skeleton of a texting system. Additional features I wanna aim for are A) a journal system B) a chatroom system.

The primary variable will be affection, as it's majorly influenced by otome games. Texts answered or ignored will impact that.
